Yorkshire BS .. not a mass revolt but 24,701 members voted against the renumeration package .. that amounts to over 10% of the vote.
And half of shareholders at AVIVA not happy at exec pay. Interesting to see how tolerant the BS members will be going forward. Maybe unrest will spread.

Mike Yardley at the Royal London has pay levels 41 times the average pay cost. An inflation linked pension of £447k. Makes you wonder about the competency of the staff and remuneration arrangements that got the Royal into this position.
And right on cue, a shareholder revolt at AVIVA, the Board are out of touch with reality. It seems the Board had to rely on brokers to tell them that large bonuses on the back of stagnant performance might not be popular at the AGM.
