    Royal Mail Shares: Request Report

Royal Mail is to float on the London Stock Exchange.
If things go to plan, this could kick-start a 80’s-style “privatisation boom”.
Which is why I think you should take a look at this right away.
    Inside you’ll find out:
    • The secret reason for the sale
    • Why the shares could be set at a bargain price
    • How you can take a position now - BEFORE the float
This could be your opportunity to get ahead of the crowds.

Yeah, I wouldn't. Who are these people and what is their agenda?

I'd expect a prospectus to become available from an official source when the time comes.

Yeah, looking again at it I fully appreciate your caution both. This was an out 'of the blue' email (not spam folder).

I have dug a little deeper as I'm sure you have only to find they seem to be a conduit for all sorts of guides from finance to fracking reports.

Couple of links to chew over but like you say, a strange source for a Royal Mail involvement.

Galvan trade CFDs. These would give you the option to go long or short on Royal Mail shares before they even float.

But you'd need an account with them, and trading CFDs, like spread bets, is something to be treated with great caution as it's a leveraged investment.

There is no connection with Royal Mail, it's just a way of Galvan (and, potentially, some private investors) to make a little money.

The prospectus will be out in due course in the usual way if they do make shares available to the public.

Okay, thanks Biggles2. I'm no stranger to CFDs but won't be taking a pre-float position on the Royal Mail!

    Request an email notification

More information is available at www.gov.uk/royalmailshares which is also where online applications will be once the offer opens.

For those who have an online broker, I think most of them now have a link to register interest, Barclays Stockbrokers certainly do.
