windows 7 account name icons missing.any ideas

Set up family computer so everyones got their own account. On windows start up the screen showed all users with icons. Clicking the required one prompted password.
Now this screen has changes to one icon (much larger), the last person who was on comp. It is then a case of maually changing to other user and inputting name and password.

Any idea how I get back to having it as one screen with all icons on?
