Well there was this thread which was sadly overlooked:

    http://www.rpoints.com/forum/viewtop...t=spreadsheets

Anyway, this is my basic matched betting spreadsheet:

Sorry Bazz, completely forgot about that.

    Quote Bazz:

I thought it might be an idea to have a dedicated thread where people can post spreadsheets they've made for doing various betting calculations. So here's my effort. It's a fairly simple back/lay spreadsheet. It will do the usual "optimal lay stake for maximum profits" calculation. But it can also work out how much you need to lay to maximise profits for one outcome and to break even on the other, which may be useful to some people.

Anyway, it's all fairly self-explanatory, so feel free to download it and have a play:

If anyone else needs hosting, PM me and I can give you an e-mail address to send it to.
    Quote Dallholio:

I like the idea of this thread. Heres the spreadsheet I did for the binary bet offer.

Excellent tool for Each Way Betting. However, may I draw something to your attention.

In H18 it refers to total stake. This is formulated by adding the stakes made. However, when you are laying, you are outlaying more to make the bet.

The formula, IMVHO, should be SUM(B3+E7+H3+K7)

The cells ending in (3) are the stake at the books. The cells ending in (7) are your outlays on Betfair.

    Regards
    Isiris

for the 0-0 refund offers that often turn up, i have made some additions to the original matcher spreadsheet so you can work out how much to lay the 0-0 off for to guarantee a profit

    http://www.geocities.com/sportbetfan/matcherplus.xls

use the top part of the spreadsheet as normal, put in the lay odds and commission for 0-0 in the bottom part, and then lay 0-0 for the amount in the 'lay stake' box ... the 'potential profit' takes into account the original loss from the qualifying bet

also the refund odds box tells you what odds you are effectively getting on the 0-0 draw, to see if the qualifying bet is worth making or not

of course this spreadsheet can be used for any refund offer if you can lay off the refund on betfair, just put the available odds in the 0-0 odds box

That reminds me, I put in a similar addition on my spreadsheet too:

    Fairly self-explanatory.

This spreadsheet can be used to help lay a bet at two different odds. By entering the value of money you managed to lay at the original odds the spreadsheet will calculate the laystake at the new odds. It will also calculate the bet returns.

The single odds part at the top of the spreadsheet is taken from another spreadsheet on MSE.
