I've tried using that number in the past, it's the application line only and they claim they can't put you through to customer services. It seems some companies will put you through and some won't. I recently took out Egg home insurance and I always called the 0800 number and played dumb and they always put me through, shame Mint won't.

I have the activation number: 0800 783 0412 - haven't tried to use it to get to customer services yet; I find the online access quite good. There is a geog number for customer services: 01273 576 576

Done; I haven't put the Amex Freephone no in because it doesn't look like you can get to the call centre easily. I tried it and it asked for my card no to activate; as I'd already activated it, I didn't want to put it in again and cause a problem

    Mint's number included with RBS.

    sorry, missed the RBS-Mint connection.

i was thinking you might want to put the 01273 numb in for Amex. I have just used the Activation line to get through to Customer Services, using the trick of pressing absolutely nothing, and then when someone gives you the number to dial, say "thanks, but please put me through".

I have 0800 656 9000 for the customer services at Experian CreditExpert, the online service. Also 0800 783 9421 for Equifax. Have made entries.

Amex entries have already been made.
