the car insurance is probably £50 over the odds anyway!

better off getting it through egg or halifax.

with halifax the more insurances etc. you take out, the bigger the %age discount on all of them.

e.g. take out halifax life, travel and car insurance and get 15% off ALL of them!!

egg do car insurance cashback too and i'm more inclined to trust egg rather than tesco!!

well cancel your current insurance and they will credit you the pro-rata overpayment back.

    then use your £50 voucher.

    simple as?

Egg and tesco are essentially the same folk - UK insurance... checked saynoto0870 for the egg number (uki switchboard), I asked for claims (I'm with egg) and the operator asked if I was with tesco

    Check the excess fees!!!

Sometimes the cheaper the price or vouchers but the excess on the insurance is at excesses to any claim you would have to pay in case of a claim.. Always try to reduce the excess to zero or lowest amount. The extra fee will always outweigh 2-5 years worth of insurance in case of a claim. Use the same for principle for hiring a car. eg car hire GBP70 excess zero or car hire GBP50 excess GBP300? Always go for GBP 70 insurance as it far outweighs the lower price. Always ask for the excess amount to compare. I hope this helps!

If its helpful pls rate me!
