    Suggestions for the Competitions forum

Is there any chance that it could be made compulsory to give the details of the closing date and type of entry in the thread title?

Perhaps, E/D - 31/12/04 and then in brackets (POST) or (NET), (TEL) etc?

I'm sure it would be helpful to a lot of people when browsing the forum.

I've moved this to the comps forum for discussion.

I don't think we can make it compulsory, but it sounds like a good idea, so we could encourage it.

How about a photo competition? I'll stake the £5 prize money, and the Admin can choose date/time of closing.

don't see why not, why not start a seperate thread to discuss the rules before we start.

I'm making this thread a sticky for more suggestions (or discussions on formats for posts in this forum).

Definately in the title as it saves opening the thread and perhaps searching. Useful when you do not want to unsubscribe before the competition winner notification date.

Why not have seperate section for each month's closing date? ( Jan Feb etc)

Should be possible to tweak the software. I'll see if I can sort it.
