    Because the DSST has just been started and not all systems have an offer listed, yet. Once Rpoints members start to PM Bangra the systems they have found you will see that more of the empty areas will be filled. You can find more details regarding the basics of the DSST HERE as it was my idea!

    This will be an unpopular question but.....

    What happens when the specs/price change significantly on the same e-value code?

    The member who notices/posts this should really get the promoter points;

    At the moment anyone who just posts all the e-value codes they can find at the start of the month, can "hog" all the promoter points that month.

    Hi, this summary is a great idea, and a lot of work for Bangra I fear. (Oh dear, that rhymes.)

    <Rant mode>
    Could I suggest that the one thread per e-value code does not work well when the offer changes. It would be better to have an archive for old offers and to start a new thread for each change in the system.

    Also, why should some people have the exclusive use of some e-value codes when the offer changes? Seems unfair to me.

    Can I reserve a few codes in advance on that principle please? I can really easily generate every possible Dell code for 2006 and post them now. Would that then entitle me to sole ownership of all Dell offers for 2006, thus depriving Moo and ST of their living? Clearly not, yet that is not too far off what is happening now, with codes being reserved rather than offers being reserved. (Hey, if it would let me own all future threads, let me know, and I'll post them all now. Come to think of it, maybe I should be safe rather than sorry? )

    It's even worse that the same old threads keep getting bumped for no good reason. I am really fed up with opening a thread to see whether an offer has changed only to get yet another message telling me that it's Wednesday and the offers change tomorrow. I know this. If there was a new thread for each new offer, then it would be easy to see which offers had changed.

    At the end of the day, Rpoints is a commercial organisation, and it needs to decide how to organise these forums to maximise profit, and fairness may not come into it. But, at least I've said my 2p worth.
