When they had them in their catalogue to buy, they charged £20 for them.

    They need cartridges that cost £47 for a pair (1 colour + 1 b/w).

To get some cartridge sales they hit on the idea of selling them as a special offer (£9.99 - without mentioning the cost of cartridges) but only for a short period - they have done this twice now.

This makes the unwary think they are getting a never to be repeated bargain, so rush in to buy - but this is not the case.

They come with trial size cartridges which quickly run out.

As these are special versions of the Lexmark cartridge, getting generic equivalents is impossible, so you are faced with buying their very expensive cartridges (at least once if you intend using a refill kit).

They can - but only if you persist! (The colour one has no filling holes, so you need to get the top off to get at the tanks, and the black needs a bigger hole drilling in it).
