Although this seems a reasonable price for a Freeview box, the truth here is that this is a very old design now. Digifusion still exist (now part of Beko) but support for this will be non-existent.

The 7day epg (it may even have been upgraded to 14 days if the built in memory allows) is courtesy of 4TV rather than the official Freeview one. You leave the unit in standby overnight and it downloads the tv listings between 3am-4am - on the plus side, this means it is pretty much instant (the normal epg on the older boxes takes several minutes to populate and forsgets channels as soon as you move off so has to be reloaded each time), the no-so-good news is that you can't switch the unit out of standby or watch any programmes between 3-4am!

When you consider that this refurbished unit will cost you £13+£5 for delivery, it probably would be better to spend the extra two quid and get one of the brand new, sub-£20, boxes from a supermarket (if you can find one of the Mogen's at Sainsbury's then they offer 2xScart, analog and digital sound out, plus a composite (yellow phono) video out).

The only time it may make sense, is if you are already buying something from MD (they have some good blank DVD deals - 50 for just over a fiver) and the postage is irelevant.
