    iPod Touch 8GB: £128.97 or 16GB (+software update): £148.97

    16GB: 513/5389 = £148.97
    8GB: 513/5358 = £128.97

Plus get a £10 Argos voucher (thanks kyle36).

In any case, it can't harm to reserve a copy.

In Addition to this, i think the Gift voucher deal of £10 on a £100 Spend and £5 on a £50 spend starts again today.

Anyways, what's the vibe with the web access on these things? Do you need to pay for it, or do you you just pick it up in wi-fi spots for nowt? If the latter, how reliable is the connection etc?

I ‘borrowed’ my friend’s itouch for a week, you don’t pay for net access, if you have a wireless connection at home it picks it up effortlessly and I can even get access from places I haven’t been able to before with my laptop (e.g. I could still get access when I was in the back garden right at the bottom).

Also tried the free Wi-fi in 3 pubs, McDonalds and a car park and no problems with the connection for any of them. I want one of my own now, the only problem being I’m not sure whether to go for the 16gb at this price or the 32gb.

Nina tbh I would wait - I doubt prices will rise before xmas (availability may be an issue though)

Also, if the Chancellor does try to stimulate the economy by ‘tweaking’ the VAT rate all new items will become cheaper overnight.

Argos generally are offering goods at some great prices currently –not sure if that’s to ensure they clear their stock or because they’ve ordered tons and are about to get caught with the credit crunch.

    Regards
So Long and THANKS for all the fish !

Basically the Volumn button on the side.
As long as you update the software to 2.1 from 1.1.5 then thats all the difference. i use one on each firmware with G1 And G2 touches.
but you can downgrade from 2.1 back to 1.1.5
