What the original poster does not mention is that you are required to attend a timeshare talk lasting a morning or afternoon (usually 3 hours), to many it has been a soft sell with no requirement to buy. The 3 hours include being shown around the resort and various units.

Yes it is a fantastic hotel and I would highly recommend having a cheap week there, yes some people like us do buy into the timeshare but it does not suit everyone. Still great place to have a cheap holiday.

Car hire is recommended as it is remote, medium sized car in high season costs us €25 a day

Yes of course, It is a great deal and 5 star Malta holidays bring some good packages for tourist and visitors. It was a great place where you can get very cheap but good holiday deals.
