    Define "good".

What do you want it to do?

I want a frame that will show the pictures up well. I know you have to have taken good photos in the first place but I just want a good quality frame.

Do you want it to do slideshows, or just show one pic until you manually change it?
A range of transition effects, or just flick from one pic to the next?
Music? Video? Formats (eg. mp4, quicktime, mp3)?
Connections (eg. output to TV, USB inputs, memory card clots)?
    Memory capacity?

Mindfield, you don't gt all this with a standard wooden frame

Having all the above options would be good. Slideshow with the added benefit of turning it off and having manual.
Transition effects would be good also.
Not too fussed about video and music.
Plenty of connection options would be good too with plenty of options on memory card slots too. Noy a major problem but would be nice to have the option to use and input

I'd consider what it looks like, cost, and the cable used to power it (which could affect where you can put it) over most of the other features.

It's not that hard to get a card of whatever type they use, and most have the basic features.

Is there anything I need to look at for picture quality or is that all the same too? Do they have different resolutions?

I should re-phrase the question. Has anyone got a digital photo frame and is it any good? Are they worth getting?
