    Actually, I do have a bit of sympathy with your buyer. It's very kind of you to deliver for free, but there could be all sorts of reasons why an un-announced delivery might not be welcome - an item bought as a gift, the buyer not wanting spouse to know of purchase, inconvenient time to accept delivery, etc.

    So learn the lesson. Agree deliveries beforehand - don't turn up unannounced.
