    Yes!

I have been with most of these companies at some point in time. You won't make masses of money, just a bit of an extra. However, you will have to work out your own tax etc. You have to register as self employed and all the rest of it.

If someone is interested in Mystery Shopping, the best one to start off with is GAPBUSTER. All the visits are easy, and don't take too long to do reports.

Good luck if anyone is starting out. They have a realy good forum on Money Saving Expert. I found it really helpful.

I wouldnt bother with Gappy, Their average pay is £4 for a burger joint. The amount of work involved is over 30-40 minutes not including travelling time to the location or the write up.

If Minimum wage could be applied to their jobs they would be outta business in no time.

So I would give them a miss - They tried to force me to do their jobs for £4 otherwise I would be fired which is actually against their spiel that they say on their website. But its a matter of time before they turn nasty and not pay for jobs that you have spent out on.

They work by getting you to pay in advance out of your own pocket and then you have to claim the money back after a month. So you can be up the creek if they suddenly want you to do something that takes you 10 miles out of your way and can cost you £6 or more to get to. But dont forget you get £4 to cover that !

    Best avoid !

    Best regards

    Victor

on their website in the FAQ it says

How much do I get paid?
Payment varies depending on the assignment that you complete (and the country in which you live). Typically, a standard payment per assignment will fall in the following range:

    USA - $11 - $17
    United Kingdom - £8
    Australia - $4-$18
i know it says "depending on assignment" but i would assume it starts from £8 per assignment?? dunno!

Which company are you looking at ?

They dont always give you a minimum of £8 to do an assignment. If its a popular one then they sometimes expect you to do it for love or "Sod all" just a reimbursement of your costs (not always including travel)

Average is generally £5 or below minimum wage !.

    Best regards

    Victor
