How upgradeable is this machine? It seems like a pretty good spec for the price but the graphics card is a bit puny. I wanna invest in a bigger nvidia one would i be able to do that with this machine.

The puny card is PCI express video card, so you'll probably be able to swap that over. I did that with my old Dimension. It's usually easy to add more hard disks and optical drives. What you tend not to be able to do easily with Dells is replace the motherboard or PSU, so you'll need to make sure your new card doesn't overly tax the PSU.

Seems a good deal. I've got it down to £270.32
(Includes VAT & Shipping). Are there any speakers from Dell that you would recommend? Also, as we're considering moving to Virgin Media, I think I need a Cable modem - probably best to include this in the package?

Thanks for any help in advance - I might go for this deal- looks pretty good!

How quiet are these? My Dimension had a beast of a fan which was way too loud. I eventually replaced it with something quieter.

Thought I'd phone to see what the crack is, I've had the phone put down on me twice (I'm popular ). They do seem to be trying it on more than usual, although one guy did mention a £10 (ex. vat) upgrade to a 19" Ultrascreen monitor, alas I didn't get the model number as he hung up!

If they do it again they can kiss goodbye to my custom.
