to get the above system you need to increase the memory from 3gb to 4gb nice and cheap option ..£10

think this could be a mistake as they are offering a FREE upgrade to the more expensive 23" monitor.

Dell Wireless Bluetooth MultiMedia Keyboard&Optical Mouse for Bluetooth Media Card Reader-UK/Irish [Included in Price]

To put this deal in to perspective.

    1. It's a slim line Dell so very limited future graphics upgrades. There are some new low profile cards coming through but nothing that compares with the more powerful and less expensive (like for like) full sized cards.

    2. It uses an older, lower spec Intel Pentium Dual-Core E2200 CPU which is one level up from those often seen on the entry level vostro bases for around £180!

    3. The supplied graphics are on-board (Integrated Intel Graphic Media Accelerator 3100) so only really good for office or very basic games use.

    3. The 23" montior (S2309W) uses old VGA technology for it's connections, so no HDMI or even DVI here.

All in all not a great deal now or for the future for almost £500. The default base specs are worth around £220-£240 based on recent Dell offers, which means your paying £260 odd for this £177 monitor (last months price - will no doubt drop again soon).

think the ram upgrade is also a mistake as its £10 and £50 on other systems

so £80 worth of upgrades for a tenner
