    Syria - Should we intervene?

It is an appalling situation and there are many good reasons for the West to intervene. But I feel that we should stay out of it. If we do not then we could only make a bad situation worse and once we intervene those who support Assad will not forgive us and could easily lead to more terrorist attacks.

And is one weapon really worse than any other? Think of napalm, cluster bombs and mines are they any better than chemical weapons?

Why stop at Syria? What about the Democratic Republic of Congo? A dreadful and long lasting civil war is raging there as well. Women are raped as a weapon of war. These women are often left with bladder and bowel damage leaving them singly or doubly incontinent.

Of course not, we are not that stupid even though the North Korean leaders treat their people even worse than Assad in Syria.
