Entertainment might be the default for Woolworths. Where would you like this to go? Smile

Thanks Sarah - you really have made me laugh out loud!

You've called my bluff - I was dithering between Home&Garden, Electricals and Others.... nowhere seemed particularly appropriate... then when it defaulted to entertainment I thought "Great, I can pass it over to a mod to put it right" - and you bounce it back onto me Laughing
I don't mind - whatever you think suits... or maybe entertainment is just as good as any? Edit - Oh, Hols & Travel - brilliant idea!

Probably uses a Peltier-type (thermoelectric) cooler, and a fan is usually used to exhaust the heat. In this case, perhaps the default cooling mode relies on natural convection for efficiency, and the fan boost is just there to help get the temperature down at the beginning?

Edit: on the other hand, the photo suggests the fan is used to help cool the contents by blowing cool air through the compartment.

For £29.99 you can get a slightly larger (29.5 litre) electric cool box from Lidl (product page here) which includes a mains adaptor for use at home, as well as a cigarette adaptor for in-car use.

There's also a 26 litre non-electric version for £6.99 at Lidl - both are special offers, so only available while stocks last.
