To upgrade the 250GB drive to:
500GB (7200rpm) Serial ATA Hard Drive with 16MB DataBurst™ cache [add £41.13 or £1/month1]

You can buy a 500 GB drive elsewhere for almost exactly that amount now, not just an upgrade. Gotta love Dell's pricing structure!

Seems to be £529 now. btw.
