Elizabeth Arden Lip Gloss at Boots, 4888 points+gift on a £72 spend?

Just having a look around Boots and noticed this.

It won't be of use to many people, but it might help someone?

Boots have a promotion on at the moment 600 (worth £6 instore) extra advantage points when you spend £60.

Theres a code that seems to work for 1000 extra points when you spend £40 (worth £10 instore).

If you buy 6, there are different shades/colours of the EA lip gloss at £12 each, you get 1000 bonus points per 2 items (3000 points worth £30 instore)

288 points (worth £2.88 instore) for spending £72 anyway.

Total of £48.88 to spend instore for a £72 purchase!

These seemed to be about the cheapest EA items I could find that were in stock and gave the points? Unless you know different?

You also get 1 of the gift sets shown in the photo and free delivery not to mention a few rpoints thrown in.

I know it won't appeal to many but I thought it was worth posting, hope someone can use it?

There are no points available for this site at the moment

Nice find but needs tweaking slightly... Wink

Boots promotions:-
* 600 (worth £6 in store) extra advantage points when you spend £60 (7th - 13th May)
* 1000 (worth £10 in store) extra points with every 2 Elizabeth Arden purchases (1 to be skincare).
* 324 points (worth £3.24 in store) for spending £81 (4 points per £1 spent)

'Elizabeth Arden All Gone Eye and Lip Makeup Remover' = cheapest Skincare item in stock @ £15
'Elizabeth Arden High Shine Lip Gloss' as the second item @ £12
= 1000 points per £27 spent

3000 points (£30 in store) would cost you £81

3000 + 600 + 324 = 3924 points.

Total of £39.24 to spend in store for a £81 purchase which is still a great offer, especially with the free £40 gift pack thrown in!

Thanks for the input but you seem to be missing the extra 1000 point code that's available (assuming you haven't used it already), that's worth another £10 Wink

I agree that 1 of the items is supposed to be skincare and for the sake of an extra £3 it's probably worth it, but I tried this and it went all the way and the points still showed Confused

Hope that helps.

Extra 1000? What I miss? Surprised

If their site doesn't know about one of the items having to be skincare yours is the better offer definitely, I only mentioned the skincare bit based on what the offers have as requirements. Smile

There is a code for an extra 1000 points kicking around, £40 minimum spend. (Can't post it on here as it's against the rules Sad )

I know it stipulates 1 to be skincare but it worked on everything I put in my basket, skincare or not?

They do have EA lipsticks that are normally £9.33 each but surprisingly these are all sold out, every colour! I assume this worked on them too, hence there aren't any Neutral

Like I say it won't appeal to everyone, but makes a good deal if you've got a use for it?

Just in case anyone had ordered any of these, the free gift is no longer the one in this thread as they have run out and it's no longer available (according to Boots),
instead you now get a free tote bag Sad

(Which is pretty rubbish in comparison)

No reason why you shouldn't be able to return the stuff if you ordered it expecting a different free gift?
