| If this only has 2cm of memory foam it must be useless as everything I have read says you need at least 2-3 inches of foam for it to be effective! |

Anything less than 3" is pretty much useless...it is soooooo good...  |

I think some times you have to put things into perspective, this is £159 for the single and the double £199 and although it might be better to have 3" of foam i don't think you will find a 3" foam king size mattress, del for anything close to this price. |

Saints, what you have said is completely right.
You would not get a 3" memory foam matress for this price BUT you will also get absolutely no benefit (memory foam wise) from this one either.
The foam is a recommended thickness for only one reason and that is to do the job it is supposed to do. |
