| This is an appaulling site. the choice is poor and money £14.99 was deducted from my bank account as a validation fee. The choice of films is not worth the hassle either with very poor availabillty on any film made after 2004 |

Thankyou for the warning,I've been thinking about this site but now you've warned us about their poor choice and service I'll be giving it a wide berth.

I have had a free trial with just about every DVD rental service and this is the only one I have been charged for using. I returned my discs 8 days before the end of the trial but they didn't receive them in time, apparently. They also run the Wilkinsons DVD site and I tried that free trial (not knowing it was run by MyMovieStream) and didn't get any films sent out until it was too late to watch them. If you do try this free trial to get the cinema tickets, I recommend that you fill your list with about three thousand old films and then if something arrives send it back the same morning. _________________ 150 Rpoints for registering here! |

I did a trial as well and was put on the 3-discs at home package. Don't know if it's their process but they initially sent out 2 discs, then sent another one out a couple of days later. No further discs were sent until the 3rd one was returned.
I've generally had more discs dispatched as as soon as some have been returned, so you would always have discs in transit or with you up to the limit of the package.
If you do cancel give plenty of time for the last discs to get to them as it seems to take them longer to receive/confirm receipt. You should generally be ok if you get a certificate of posting at the PO. |

I signed up Friday, chose a few titles friday evening (plenty of Goldie Oldies... I mean what's been made in last 20 years that compares?). 3 DVDs despatched Saturday, arrived Monday. I returned them Tuesday, they were logged as received and 2nd 3 titles despatched yesterday (weds) and arrived this morning. I'm impressed... (nearly enough to stay beyond the free trial... but not quite!). Nothing taken from my card. I've yet to see whether I get the cinema tickets, as I'd not read the bit about having 15 titles in list until after they;d despatched, so I may have screwed that myself. But I've no complaints, have used the trial to see the ending of one film that I'd missed, and to check out another that someone had raved about (which didn't appeal). And a few quid in cashback. |

| Beware of mymoviestream. Rpoints should consider removing links to this company, they are taking people's money before the end of the 'free' trial, and when you complain, no response. Not that good as a DVD rental service either! |

We have a good relationship with the guys at MyMovieStream. If any of you have been charged before the free trial ends please send in a query with all the relevant information (make sure you include your MyMovieStream account information) and we'll try to get a refund sorted. _________________ A Monkey is for life, not just for Xmas!

| Thanks for the reply BangraMonkey. I assume you're speaking for Rpoints; if so thanks for your offer to try to get a refund sorted out. You can see from the other messages here, I'm not the only one to be very disappointed with mymoviestream. I have complained to them in the first instance, and as yet have received no reply, but they have emailed twice with the message "You just paid, then cancelled". They offer to extend your first months subscription, etc. This all strikes me as an deliberate strategy for parting people from their money, and at the least, sharp practice, at worst, a blatant rip-off. |

| No answer? And no answer from mymoviestream either to my complaints and requests for refund. That settles it for me - a bloody rip-off! Keep away... |
