Description
The days when writing to highly compact optical storage media was a major hurdle are over. Today, users trust NEC's high-performance DVD-burners for perfect speed, precision and comfort. The best example is the AD-7170A model, whose AD-7173A variant includes top-modern Labelflash functionality. But with or without: both DVD-burners are ultra-fast in many formats. Their secret: they write to DVD-RAMs with an exceptional 12x speed. But their 18x speed when writing to DVD-Rs or DVD+Rs is also at the head of the pack, with DVD-RW, DVD-R DL and DVD+R DL neck-and-neck at 8x speed. Exceedingly fast. Don't you think?

It has to be said that the product description (straight off the Play.com site) is the biggest load of jibberish I've ever read! It doesn't even make any sense. 'The days when writing to highly compact optical storage media was a major hurdle are over' - uh? Oh yeah, that one's kept me awake at night for years! 'Perfect speed, precision and comfort' - 'Comfort' I didn't know we were supposed to wear it! Who writes this stuff? |
