You could probably buy a HD DVD player and the entire HD DVD catalogue for less than £250. |

To be fair HD-DVD sales must currently be beasting blu-ray. I have bought 5 blu-ray disks so far compared to over 50 HD-DVD's, Toshiba should have hung in there
To my mind the issue people have with HD is that essentially many of us are being asked to buy the same old movies for the 2nd or 3rd time now to get a better again experience. At £20 a pop this seems a little silly.
Now that so many disks are available for about £5 I am happy to buy movies again. If the greedy studios would price in line with DVD the sales would be fine.
I don't mind paying £10-£15 for a brand new film that I really want, but I definately don't want to pay that for the older disks. |

at £5 quid a time, I've bought loads of HD-DVDs
dead format or not, doesn't matter to me with classic films |
