Stainless Steel Garden Torch (Heater) £9 (was £30) Tesco

This Tesco stainless steel garden torch creates a warm atmosphere in your garden. The garden torch has a 1.1kw output and can be placed on the ground or on a table. This gas powered garden torch is suitable for use by ages 18 years+.

There is also a black one for £7.50 instead of £25.

These may also be ok for any campers out there.

I assume they take the same gas canisters as the portable camping cookers that you can buy.

Click on Tesco Direct at the top left of the Tesco.com site and input stainless steel garden torch in the search box, it will bring up both the steel and the black one.

You get free delivery this weekend if your order is over £50 so if you ordered 3 of the £30 ones and used a code to get £13 off a £90 order I think you would get 3 delivered for £14 instead of £90.

I have seen these reduced instore today but they were at least £15.

Has anyone got one of these?

Do you get flames coming out of the top?

Well, just decided to go for it.

Ordered 3 of the £9 ones which came to £27 (instead of £90) less a £13 discount code, free delivery, total to pay was £14 delivered.

Roughly £4.67 each instead of £30.00.

Smile

Received ours today and they do use the same gas canisters that you use in gas weed wands and portable gas cookers.

The flame does come out of the top of the canister so you would have to have it up on the spike if kids are around (or perhaps if your guests are a bit sozzled - don't want them singeing their eyebrows!).

Once it's on the spike it's quite heavy so no chance of it falling over and the spike is quite sturdy too.

Will wait until it gets a bit nippier tonight to see how much heat it throws off.

Does say 1kw output on the box.

I spotted four for £5 in Poundstretchers today (also know as Instore in some areas).

I got some cannisters that are just butane rather than butane & propane mix.

What diffrence will this make?
