virginmedia finally upgrading broadband 4mb to 10mb!!!
they are finally upgrading my 4mb to 10mb (for free).
Where's my upgrade?

My area TBC, plus I'm on 2mb anyway at the mo. However, used the opportunity to get my age-old Motorola SB3100 modem replaced, which can't cope with 10mb or more anyway.
Went though this form to apply for replacement and 10 days later received an Ambit 256 in the post. Used the free quickstart service, which really just involved calling with my new modem MAC code (not forgetting to ask for call charges to be credited back to my account) and was back on the Net within minutes. The Ambit seems to be working more efficiently than my old modem and now I'm apparently ready for speeds up to 50mb! |
