How do I earn points by highlighting an offer or bargain at a partner site?
If you spot a good offer or bargain at one of our partner sites, you can tell other members about it by submitting the details at http://www.rpoints.com/newoffer
This will automatically create a post in our discussion forum containing your "promoter link". For everyone who clicks through that link and earns points, you get a bonus equivalent to 10% of the points earned! (max 500 points per transaction)
There's no limit to the points you can earn this way, and it doesn't matter whether the members purchase the particular product you were promoting or earn points in some other way; so long as the last link they used before earning points at that site was your "promoter link".
You can also create a promoter link directly to an Rpoints partner, without submitting an offer. Just add &promoter=YOURID to the end of the Rpoints link (where YOURID is your unique Rpoints member ID - see http://www.rpoints.com/refer for details)

Important: Promoter bonuses are intended to reward members for finding genuine bargains. To prevent this generous feature from abuse, we will withhold bonuses where we believe there is an association between the promoter and the member clicking on their link
Also, note that promoter bonuses are not available for certain partners due to the limited nature of the tracking technology. As a guide, you cannot earn promoter points at any partner site where the points offer makes any mention of manual claims being required. Less than 5% of Rpoints partner sites are affected by this
