On my points statement, what's the difference between Rebates, Rewards and Referrals
Rpoints offers you "The three Rs" - three different ways to earn points. Rebates are where you spend money (or make some kind of financial commitment) and receive a proportion of this back as cashback. Rewards are where you earn points without spending any money e.g. registering at a partner site. Referrals are for promoting Rpoints to others; either by getting new members to register via your Refer-a-friend link, or by posting an offer or bargain to our forums.
Sometimes, we have to guess whether a transaction should be classed as a Rebate or Reward, based on information provided (such as the Order Value). Don't worry if it seems incorrect for a particular transaction, it doesn't have any effect on the points awarded.
