Description



The Panasonic SDR-S10 comes with an included 2GB SD Card and is designed to be compact and tough enough to be used everyday. At 114mm long and 63mm tall, it is small enough to slip easily into a pocket or bag - and cool enough to take everywhere you go. Furthermore it is both shock-proof and water-resistant so you can use it anywhere without fear of damaging it.

The SDR-S10 is designed to resist damage even if dropped from a height of up to 1.2 metres. We fortified the outer body casing, making it thicker to improve its rigidity and strength. Inside, we provided an intermediate resin chassis to cushion and protect the the main circuit board and lens. This solid construction makes the S10 our toughest camera yet.

The water-resistant design lets you use this camera outside even when its rainy or snowy - and is even designed so you can still hold and operate it when your hand is wet. All of this means that this is a video camera you can use in places you never dared to take a camera before, like on the piste, on a boat, or alongside a pool.

To ensure the best possible picture even at high zooms, the SDR-S10 is equipped with Pure Colour Engine processing which converts the CCD output signal from a complementary colour signal into an RGB signal at an early stage and extracts the low frequency luminance component from the RGB signal. This enables superb colour reproduction even from high-zoomed pictures.

Finally, just to make sure you always get your shot, the SDR-S10 has a Quick Start-up function meaning you can begin recording only 1.7s after powering on and opening the LCD.
