Connecting your iPod to i-Station is easy, just place the iPod and away you go. The dock, which fits both the iPod and iPod mini with dock connector, even recharges the iPod battery while it plays, leaving you to enjoy your music rather than worrying about the level of your battery power.

With a modern, white aesthetic and excellent sound quality, combined with outstanding useability and portability, the Logic3 i-Station is a must have for any iPod owner. Play.com's 'cheap as chips' price tag also makes it the perfect gift for any music lover.
The i-Station delivers excellent value for money and is a popular choice in the portable audio market. Chances are you probably know someone who owns this speaker system....I know four.
As well as its brilliant value, the i-Station is compatible with all iPod models from all generations and a number of docking ports are supplied. For those who don't own an iPod however, Logic3 have included compatibility options for those with other portable media players, so no one is left out.
What's more, the i-Station is more than just a speaker system too. It may feature 2 x 2.5 watt base speakers and a 4 watt subwoofer, but it also doubles as a docking station for your iPod, featuring both USB and Firewire (IEEE 1394)… more »

What's more, the i-Station is more than just a speaker system too. It may feature 2 x 2.5 watt base speakers and a 4 watt subwoofer, but it also doubles as a docking station for your iPod, featuring both USB and Firewire (IEEE 1394) compatibility and cables for this are even included in the box alongside UK and EU mains cords.
The i-Station is a great option for anyone looking at a portable speaker system. The subwoofer folds in to make the speakers about as thick as a typical novel and a plastic cover is included to slip over the speakers to prevent damage. The i-Station can also be powered by 4 x AA batteries to make them truly portable.
For anyone looking for a simple and user friendly system, the i-Station serves up a very simple layout with just four buttons for power, volume and 3D sound, and a simple instruction guide.
The system does have some downfalls though. The speakers themselves lack a covering, so are quite vulnerable to damage. Another issue is the way that iPods are docked. They are left freestanding and without any rest, which wouldn't be much of an issue where a remote control, or more controls on the actual system were made available. All functions except volume are controlled via the iPod, and when changing track, for example, it feels like the iPod would quite easily snap off the dock: needless to say, this is quite a concern.
To sum up however, the Logic 3 i-Station is an excellent product and offer an excellent alternative to the more expensive systems commonly found.
And your best place to buy them: Play.com. You won't find them cheaper anywhere else, and what's more they include free delivery!
